There isn’t much transparency about how everything works behind the scenes, so our strategy is based on the posted rules, what we’ve seen round to round, and what we’re learning along the way.

How the Competition Works

Youth Athlete of the Year is a nationwide public-voting competition.

Each person gets 1 FREE vote every 24 hours from the time of their last free vote.

Votes reset at the start of every round.

From here on, only #1 in each group advances.

So every round is its own race.

Every vote matters. And timing matters too.
